Meet Kameron!

Meet Kameron! He is around a year old and 45 lbs. Kameron was hit by a car and instead of being taken to a vet, he was dumped at our local kill shelter where his fate was to sit in pain until he was either rescued or euthanized - whichever came first. Six rescues were contacted on his behalf (two of which are specific to animals who are injured) and no on e would take him. Long story short, we got Kam back to the farm and he had an FHO a surgery right away. His hip has healed and he is completely weight bearing on all 4 legs. I have before and after videos of him if anyone wants to see. No medication or further surgeries required.
Kameron is crate trained, leash trained (prong collar), and loves to ride in a car. He gets along fine with other dogs, but tries to hump them as soon as he meets them. If the other dog tells him "no" he listens and goes on about his business.
Kameron shows NO aggression towards cats (or any animals/people) however he thinks cats are dogs. He wants to play!! There is a chance he could hurt a cat by being too rough with it - this behavior can be corrected. Cats that lay around and ignore him, he ignores back. He's a big baby who's still learning. He is very young!
Kameron is a high energy dog who needs someone strong to handle him. He is a big lover that will give you a lot of kisses and be your best most loyal friend. He loves life! Throughout all that happened to him, his tail never stopped wagging.

At the time of adoption a donation of $250 (dogs over 6 months) and $350 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.
