Baby Belle is a retired dachs x - she is a sprightly 11 yr old, 15.6 lbs. She doesn't even want to know about cats, at times, if another dog is in her face she does not like it. She is still athletic, hears well and sees well. She lost her owner (crossed the bridge) and was pretty much left to her own devices for a while. She prefers been close to a person, would make an ideal lap buddy, loves to sit in the recliner with me when I can, she crates well, walks well on the leash and absolutely loves short walks. Eats well but is not crazy about all the treats. Has her favorites. She is on heart meds as she does have a heart murmur and on anxiety meds. (Enalapril and Zylkene). Takesd her meds like a champ, just pop it in a pill pocket and it is gone. She is looking for a cozy spot.
