What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. Vena is a dachshund mix that is approximately 3 years old and weighs 38 lbs.  She has a mellow, easy going temperment and gets along great with kids and other dogs (slow intro with larger dogs is preferred so she feels comfortable.  This friendly, sweet girl always has a wag to her tail, loves to go on car rides, and is a great walking companion.  In addition, her intelligence shines through as she is quick to learn commands such as "sit" and how to use a doggie door.   Plus, Vena is fully house, crate leash trained.  Vena is very curious in cats and will require continued direction and guidance (as she is receiving in foster care) to live in a home with cats.
