On a cold night in Carlisle, SC, a little kitten walked up to our sanctuary manager late at night and began meowing at her. This kitten, all by himself, was super friendly, super personable and had been abandoned. Our sanctuary manager couldn't say no to his little face and took him in. After residing at our animal sanctuary for just a little while, he is ready for the next leg of his journey and has come to Long Island to find a family. First, he's gorgeous with big, eager eyes! Next, he's happy to be around people and loves to pet especially right on the top of his head between the ears! A baby like this should not have been abandoned, but we're certainly grateful he found his way to us and our promise to him is to find a home where he will be loved, kept safe and he can be happy & cozy!

This cat is spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccinations, is FIV and FeLV/Feline Leukemia Negative, and ready to find a soft spot to land and enjoy a family!

At the time of adoption a donation is required before the animal is placed in an adoptive home.

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs
