Hi my name is Vanessa and I am an adult (5-6yr old) medium sized dog about 40-50lbs, perfect family size. I am gentle and sweet and get along well with other dogs. I am not the best looking dog but what I lack in beauty I make up for with my mellow personality and loyal companionship. I have not had an easy life, one look at the scars on my face you can tell I have not had a lot of kindness offer to me in my life. I haven't even gotten to a point yet where I can smile or relax enough to enjoy the kindness that people show me. I am really a dog who deserves to be rescued by someone special who is ready to show me some love and affection. I am well mannered, and very shy and would do well to find someone who can offer a lot of love. I am learning how to accept affection and kindness it is something new in my life. If you are looking for a a loving friend to share life's adventures I am the one for you.
