Volunteer: 

Last Chance Animal Rescue could not exist without our volunteers. We rely on the assistance of our committed volunteers to make each of our programs function.  Our hard working volunteer force provides us with the ability to hold multiple adoption events every weekend across Long Island offering the animals as much exposure as possible to increase their chances for adoption.
There are so many volunteer roles with varying degrees of commitment required.  

The future of Last Chance Animal Rescue lies with its volunteers.

Volunteers are required to:

1. Submit a Volunteer Application.
2. Sign a Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement.
3. Be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian if under the age of 16.
4. Review and abide by our Volunteer Guidelines.
5. Treat animals in our care with kindness and concern for their welfare.
6. Represent themselves and LCAR in a professional manner at all times.
